What are the shipping charges?

Mid-Century Modern shipping is calculated at checkout. Some large and/or heavy items require special handling and have a crating/boxing charge. If the item is not available for purchase online then expect actual shipping charges + crating may apply.

 

Are there any 8130-3 Forms?

Used parts do not qualify for an 8130-3 form, however, there are times when we send a part to a certified repair station for repairs and offer the part for sale with the 8130-3 form supplied by the certified repair facility. If the part has an 8130-3 form then it will be clearly displayed in the ad details above.


Is the item available?

Unless otherwise noted all items appearing on this web site are in stock and available for purchase. The photographs may or may not be the actual photos representing the item, but the condition of the item will be similar unless otherwise noted.


The item is not priced. How do I get a price?

Simply use the "Contact us" page and request a price. A customer representative will price the item and contact you with the current price.

Terms & Conditions – Mid-Century Modern Aero (“MCM”)

  • Condition of Parts
    All items sold by MCM as parts are offered strictly “AS REMOVED” / “AS IS,” with all faults. These parts are removed from salvaged aircraft and are sold without any representation of airworthiness, functionality, or suitability.

  • No Warranties
    MCM is not the manufacturer of the items and provides no warranties, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The buyer and/or installing agency assumes all responsibility for determining airworthiness, eligibility, and proper use.

  • Returns

    • Engines and propellers are non-returnable.

    • Electrical components are returnable only if installed and inspected by a licensed repairman or certified facility, with proof of such installation.

    • All other items may be returned within 30 days of purchase, unaltered and in the same condition as shipped.

    • Any modification, disassembly, or alteration voids return eligibility.

  • Shipping & Risk of Loss
    Shipping insurance is not included. All risk of loss or damage in transit is assumed by the buyer. MCM is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

  • Governing Law
    These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maine, and any disputes shall be resolved within its courts of jurisdiction.
